Foster Mother Arrested After Police Find Toddlers Hogtied

SAN ANTONIO, TX –– A 37-year-old is facing child endangerment charges after police found two toddlers tied up inside the home.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, last Sunday officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Bailey St.

Once inside the home officers found a 1-year-old little girl hogtied and with a bloody lip and black eye.

The second toddler, a two-year-old boy, was found inside a covered playpen

According to officers, both children were viability upset and heavily soiled.

The children were put in the custody of CPS and evaluated at a local hospital.

As a result of the investigation, officers arrested Priscilla Salias –– the children's temporary foster guardian. She was charged with two counts of endangering a child.

In addition to the toddlers, authorities learned a five-month-old may have also lived in the home. The child was later found in the care of a different family member at a different house.

All three children are now in the custody of CPS.
