HOUSTON, TX –– A Texas driver is facing legal charges after deputies Harris County Sheriff's Office spotted a lit bbq it in the back of his truck.
According to HCSO, deputies first became aware of a possible issue after drivers reported a large fire in the back of the pickup.
When deputies caught up with the driver –– identified as 40-year-old Jay Rojas –– they determined he appeared to be intoxicated.
After Rojas failed a standardized field sobriety test, deputies found Rojas in possession of cocaine.
Rojas was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Possession of a Controlled Substance and booked into the Harris County Jail.
