FBI Joins Search for Missing 3-Year-Old Girl

SAN ANTONIO, TX- The FBI has now joined the search for a missing 3-year-old San Antonio girl.

Lina Sardar Khil was last seen in a northwest San Antonio apartment complex’s playground during the afternoon on December 20, 2021.

San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said, “I wish I could be more uplifting. I know this looks like we’re really onto something. But all we’re doing here is following up.” McManus also stated that the team was just checking a possible lead.

An FBI Underwater Search and Evidence Response Team of 12 individuals has been flown in from Washington D.C. to search bodies of water close to the Khil Family apartment.

Lina’s mother walked away for a brief time and when she returned to the playground, Lina had gone missing.

Lina Khil was last seen wearing a red dress, a black jacket with black shoes, and has brown hair.

The Khil family moved to the United States from Afghanistan in 2019 after receiving threats that were posed to them.
