Pregnant Mother and Infant In Critical Condition After Christmas Eve Crash

 

SAN ANTONIO, TX –– A Christmas Eve crash sent a pregnant mother and her one-year-old daughter to the hospital late Friday night.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, the woman, her husband, and child were traveling in a black GMC Sierra when a white Cadilac Escalade disregarded a stop sign and crashed into the passenger side of the truck.

All three members in the GMC Sierra were rushed to University Hospital for treatment. According to officials, the woman and the child have been intubated.

The driver of the Escalade, identified as 33-year-old Gerardo Lozano, has been charged with three counts of intoxication assault.
