Police Searching for Violent Suspect Accused of Punching Girlfriend

 

SAN ANTONIO, TX –– The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is searching for a violent suspect accused of assaulting his girlfriend last Friday night.

According to BCSO,  when the victim arrived home late at night boyfriend,  Roy Norwood, became upset.

During the early morning hours the next day, Norwood questioned the victim about why she came home so late and became angrier as the victim attempted to work on her laptop.

Norwood then became violent and shut the victim's laptop and punched her in the nose.

When the victim attempted to call 9-1-1 for help, the suspect then allegedly grabbed the phone to prevent her from calling the police.

When the victim was able to call help, Norwood fled the home and remains on the run.

Anyone with information regarding Norwood's whereabouts is asked to contact the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office at 210-335-6000.
