Victim Beaten to Death at Red Roof Inn

HOUSTON – A deadly beating claimed the life of a person at a Red Roof Inn in Houston early Wednesday morning.

According to the Houston Police Department, around 4:00 a.m. officers were dispatched to the 9900 block of Gulf Freeway for reports of an assault.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the victim deceased with evidence of trauma.

The case is being investigated by HPD as a homicide.

Police have not identified the victim at this time.
