Suspect Arrested After 4 Hour Long Standoff

 

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A San Antonio man is in custody after a four-hour standoff with police late Thursday night.

According to authorities, the standoff began shortly after 10:30 p.m. when San Antonio police responded to a home on Old Sky Harbor Drive.

With approximately 12 people inside the home, the suspect opened fire on the police.

After nearly four hours the subject was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault on a peace officer. Authorities confirmed the unidentified suspect also had active warrants.
