Bad Luck Burglar Shot & Mauled by Dog During Home Invasion

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A home burglar bit off more than he could chew early Monday during an attempted home invasion.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, the incident occurred shortly after midnight. As the suspect attempted to enter the home, the homeowner heard the disturbance and drew a firearm to confront the suspect.

The homeowner fired the gun – injuring the suspect in the hand. The homeowner's dog then bit the suspect in the leg.

The suspect was treated by the emergency crews at the scene before he was taken into custody.
