FBI Searching for Laredo Family Missing in Mexico

 

LAREDO, TX – The FBI is asking the public's help to locate a mother and her two children who went missing in Mexico on June 13th.

According to the FBI, Gladys Cristina Perez Sanchez, 39, John Carlos Gonzalez,16, and Michelle Cristina Duran, 9, were visiting relatives in  Sabinas Hidalgo in Nuevo Leon.
 
Sanchez and her children headed back to Laredo shortly before 4:00 p.m. in a yellow 2014 Chevrolet Sonic. The car had a Texas license plate of NBX-4740.

Investigators believe the family went missing on the Monterrey-Nuevo Laredo Highway at marker 100 by Vallecillo.

The mother is approximately 5' and 150 pounds and has brown eyes and long black hair. She was last seen wearing a green polo shirt and blue jeans.

The teen male is approximately 5’8” and 180 pounds and has brown eyes and short red hair. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt.

The girl has brown eyes and long, black, curly hair. She is approximately 4’10" and 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing a striped t-shirt.

According to investigators, there are no indications the family did not plan to return to their Laredo home. The mother may be at risk as she needs access to daily medications.

"Although the whereabouts of Perez Sanchez and her two children are unknown at this time, investigators believe they could possibly be in Parse, Nuevo Leon."
