Man Shot in the Head During Altercation

SAN ANTONIO, TX - A San Antonio man is in critical condition after he was shot in the head on Friday morning.

According to SAPD, the suspect and the victim were working on a house in the King William area when they got into an argument. The situation escalated and the suspect shot the victim in the head. 

The victim is in his 50s and was rushed to a local hospital. According to police, the homeowner rushed out of the home and performed CPR until EMS arrived.

The suspect then ran off and carjacked an elderly couple at gunpoint. He would eventually crash the vehicle in the south area of the city. The couple was not injured during the carjacking.

SAPD had confirmed they have located the suspect, but no additional information has been released at this time.
