SAN ANTONIO, TX – As the search for toddler James Avi Chairez continues, a heavy police presence was seen at his mother's house in San Antonio after authorities located human remains.
Police had searched for James and his mother, D’Lanny Reaneille Chairez, since the beginning of the year. Last month Chairez was questioned by police and refused to tell law enforcement where James was located. She would only say she had given him up for adoption and that she wasn't ready to be a mother.

According to SAPD, officers confirmed that after conducting a follow-up search of Chairez's trailer home they found remains. An earlier search of the home revealed multiple baby items in the trailer home.
At this time authorities have not confirmed the identity of the body and must wait until the Bexar County Medical Examiner conducts a thorough investigation.
The case involving the remains has been turned over to the homicide division.
According to James' aunt, Mariesol Gomez, she searched Chairez's trailer on Tuesday looking for clues about James' location. She was then contacted by SAPD as they planned to conduct a secondary search.
"We came out here with the search, and also with the mediums and all the mediums that I've spoken to have all said the same thing," said Gomez. "They all had there, you know, their points that he was buried by a chain-link fence."3
