Man Charged After Committing Bestiality With Horses

SAN ANGELO, TX -- A 24-year-old San Antonio man has been arrested after police say he committed bestiality with two horses.

According to SAPD, back in June of 2020, Jean Bugoma was caught on surveillance video walking through the horse barn naked. In the video, he can be seen entering multiple stalls.

The next morning the owner of the horses found two of the animals had sustained leg injuries.

A veterinarian determined both horses had been sexually and physically assaulted. DNA was collected from one of the horses.

Nearly seven months later, on January 7th, two horses were injured and one was the victim of bestiality.

Bugoma was finally caught on February 14th when police and the owner found him inside the stables once more.

Police were then able to match Bugoma's DNA to the sample collected after the first incident.

Bugona was charged with two counts of bestiality and one count of burglary of a building with the intent to commit theft. His bond was set at $105,000.
