COVID-19 Survivor Celebrates 100th Birthday

SAN ANTONIO, TX - A COVID-19 survivor had a very special celebration this month.

Mrs. Maria Garcia celebrated her 100th birthday surrounded by her family. Garcia was not able to celebrate her 99th birthday last year when the pandemic began.

Garcia's family brought her a mariachi band, flowers, and cake at the Heritage Nursing & Rehab where she resides. 

Garica's family is pretty big, she has 3 kids, 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
