Accused Killer Still on the Run Years Later

SAN ANTONIO, TX – More than four years after Ricardo Sanchez was murdered and his body was dumped at Calaveras Lake in San Antonio, authorities continue searching for the alleged killer.

According to San Antonio Police Department, officers were dispatched to Lee Hall on February 16, 2017, for reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived at the scene they only found a trail of blood on the driveway leading to the street.

According to witnesses, the victim had been involved in a fight with a man identified as Jose Rodriguez. Both men were gone by the time officers arrived at the scene.

Four days later Sanchez's body was found at Calaveras Lake.

Rodriguez has not been seen since that day and SAPD is asking anyone with information to come forward.

SAPD Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information that can lead to an arrest of the person or person(s) involved in Sanchez's murder.
