Woman Arrested After Assaulting Disabled Man

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A San Antonio woman is facing serious charges after she allegedly abused a disabled man.

According to SAPD, on December 9th officers were dispatched to a home on Indian Pipe Drive.

Upon arriving, officers located the victim with redness on the left side of his face. Police were able to confirm the man was paralyzed on his right side.

According to police, the victim and the suspect, identified as Krystal Diaz, got into an argument over Diaz's children and their 'lack of respect' at the home.

Diaz became upset and angry when the victim asked her to leave.

Diaz then began punching the victim on the head and face several times before stricking him with a packaged soap bar.

Diaz was charged with Injury to a Disabled Person. Police also confirmed Diaz had previously been convicted of making terroristic threats to family members.
