Gunman Arrested After Shooting Ex-Wife's New Guy

 

STAMFORD, TX -- A 27-year-old Stamford man is facing murder charges after he allegedly killed another man.

According to law enforcement, Manuel Alaman, Jr. and the victim got into a fight around 11:15 a.m. at a house in the  900 block of E. Reynolds Street. The two men appeared to be fighting over Alaman's ex-wife.

Alaman pulled out a gun and shot the victim once in the chest. He was transported to Anson General Hospital and pronounced dead.

Alaman has been charged with murder and transported to the  Rolling Plains Detention Center in Haskell.
