Neighbor Finds Elderly Woman Dead With Gunshot Wound

SAN ANTONIO, TX — A welfare check ended in a tragic discovery after a neighbor found an elderly woman shot to death on Thursday morning.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, the gunshot wound does not appear to be self-inflicted and police are currently questioning the victim’s husband.

Both the victim and her husband are in their 80s and at this time no further information has been released regarding the possible motive for the gunshot.
