Suspect Arrested After Choking Victim With Cord for No Reason

 

SAN ANTONIO, TX -- A San Antonio man was arrested after allegedly choking a woman with a cell phone charger.

According to court documents, 36-year-old Ruben Castano Jr. approached the victim while she was cleaning and "out of nowhere" started choking her with the cord.

According to the victim while Castqno squeezed her neck he said "if you're not scared of me, now you should be."

After a family member saw the bruise caused by the cord then contacted the police but Castano had already left the scene,

He was subsequently arrested and charged with Assault, a third-degree felony.
