LUBBOCK, TX — After being charged with murder, Edward Wilson of San Angelo has been formally indicted in the murders of 31-year-old Michael Carson and 64-year-old Gregory Tubbs.
According to court documents, Wilson killed the men who were going to sell him methamphetamine in Lubbock. According to police, the murders occurred on July 1, 2020.
According to the arrest warrant, Carson was supposed to meet with two individuals from San Angelo to sell them “crack.” The individuals were later identified as Edward Wilson and Bobby Gasca.
According to a witness, he saw Carson’s four-door car pull into the driveway. The witness recognized the vehicle but did not recognize the individual who got out of the vehicle.
The witness also observed a small SUV at the scene. He did not recognize the occupants but described the driver as a Hispanic female with long hair.
The witness then saw the passenger, later identified as Wilson, enter the house. Wilson then remained inside the home for less than five minutes and then multiple gunshots were heard from inside.
The witness then saw Wilson run from the house to the SUV, which quickly left the area without any lights turned on,
Wilson was arrested in San Angelo on July 9th and transported to Lubbock. He is being held on a $50,000 bond.
