SAPD: Children Found Mother Dead Inside Home

SAN ANTONIO, TX — On Thursday morning officers with the San Antonio Police Department located 27-year-old Cora Ann Nickel dead inside her home. According to police Nickel’s kids, ages 5 and 10, found her body.

According to KTXS, the children texted their grandmother after he located their mother. Details regarding how Nickel was killed have not been released, but police suspect foul play.

The investigation remains open, but police have not identified a suspect.
