Police: Suspect Assaulted Child at Knife Point

SAN ANTONIO, TX — After allegedly sexually assaulting a 12-year-old at knife-point, a 40-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection to the incident

According to KTXS, last Sunday the victim was walking home when a man in a dark-colored SUV pulled up to her and asked to use her cellphone.

The suspect, identified as Donald Hamilton, then got the victim into his SUV. After driving around Hamilton then stopped along a dead-end street. Hamilton then sexually assaulted her knifepoint before he left her on the side of the road.

Police located the victim and transported her to a local hospital. The victim was able to provide authorities with a description of the SUV and the suspect.

Hamilton was later arrested in the area of I-10 and Foster Rd. When questioned by police he denied the sexual assault allegations made by the child. Hamilton was then charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child.
