DALLAS, TX — The Dallas Police Department has confirmed the death of a female suspect who exchanged gunfire with a security guard late Thursday night.
According to KABB, the security guard was working outside a Motel 6 along Regal Row when the woman fired a gun from inside a car across the street.
The security guard then returned the fire and ultimately delivered a fatal shot.
According to the police, it is unclear why the woman shot at the guard in the first place. Police confirmed the security guard was injured, but it is unknown if he suffered a gunshot wound. He is expected to make a full recovery.
