18-Wheeler Mangled in Interstate Crash

SAN ANTONIO, TX — A 18-wheeler was left unrecognizable after it collided with a second 18-wheeler early Tuesday morning.

According to KABB, the two trucks were traveling Interstate 37 when one truck attempted to pass the second.

It is unknown what caused the trucks to crash into each other, but the impact caused one of the trucks to veer off the highway and it struck a guard rail.

The impact destroyed the cab of the 18-wheeler which resulted in the driver being rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. The injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening.

The other driver was not injured and his truck sustained minor damages.

According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, no charges are currently pending and they do not believe alcohol was a factor.
