Suspect Charged With Murder After Cleaning Up Crime Scene

SAN ANTONIO, TX — A San Antonio man has been charged after he attempted to clean up the scene of the crime.

According to KABB, on the morning of June 13 authorities were called to Vance Jackson Rd for reports of an “unresponsive male” in the grass. When officers arrived, they found a body with a gunshot wound, and as identified as Jose Ramon Jurado. His death was ruled a homicide.

According to authorities, surveillance footage from the night before showed the suspect, 48-year-old Felix Sanchez, and a woman walking to the back door of a bar before Jurado entered.

The footage showed Sanchez and the unidentified woman were sitting in the patio area of the establishment when the victim joined them at their table.

Police reports indicate Sanchez and the woman were out of camera view but based on the victim’s body language and gestures which were visible, the conversation got “heated.”

The victim can then be seen standing up and walking towards the couple. Tables and chairs are pushed aside, and the footage shows the victim stumble and fall.

Sanchez and the woman then walk away and return to “drag the victim off the patio.” They then rearrange the chairs and tables to their place.

An hour and a half later Sanchez returned to the patio with a broom, a bottle of bleach, and water. The footage then shows Sanchez scrubbing the patio.

A witness told investigators she new Jurado and saw the entire episode unfold. She then proceeded to identify Sanchez as an assailant.

Sanchez is facing a murder charge.
