Police Searching for Gunman Who Killed Teen

SAN ANTONIO, TX — Nearly three months after a shooter killed a 17-year-old who answered a knock at the door,  the San Antonio Police Department is seeking the public’s help to identify the suspect.

According to KTXS, Greg Pina was shot when he opened the door on March 30 around 1:30 a.m. According to police, the shooting could have been targeted, but according to a neighbor someone pounded on her door earlier that same evening and even tried to kick it in.

Pina’s thirteen-year-old sister was also injured in the shooting, but she was in stable condition.

Authorities are searching for information that could lead to the capture of the suspect involved in the fatal shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 210-224-STOP.
