Teen Shot in the Neck After Sneaker Deal Turns Violent

HOUSTON, TX — A 16-year-old was shot in the neck after a deal to buy $300 went wrong.

According to KTXS, the teen had made a deal to buy the shoes from an online seller. The two had agreed to meet at a park around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday night.

According to police, the seller showed up with "a couple of guys” and pulled a gun on the teen. He then took the teen’s cash and shot him in the neck.

The suspects fled the scene and the teen was rushed to the hospital by EMS. The latest reports indicate the teen is in stable condition.
