North Texas Megachurch Plans To Open Next Weekend

PLANO, TX – Prestonwood Baptist Church, the North Texas megachurch, has announced it will reopen the doors of its three campuses next weekend.

According to KDFW, the church opened reservations and within one hour had most seats filled. The church has over 40,000 members who have been unable to attend on-site services in nearly 10 weeks.

In order to reopen the church plans to limit the number of people and one service will even be held outdoors.

“It’s going to be difficult to keep people apart. We’ve been out for nine Sundays, 10 after this weekend. On the 30th and the 31st, we believe it’s time to reopen and so we have actually about seven services planned to bring people in,” said Pastor Jack Graham.

Prestonwood Baptist Church has campuses in Plano, Prosper, and Lewisville and has been holding online services since quarantine began.
