WWE Wrestler Accused of Brutal Assault

SAN ANTONIO, TX – WWE champ Alberto Del Rio was arrested over the weekend after a woman accused him of brutally beating and sexually assaulting her.

According to KTXS, the victim gave police graphic details about the multiple assaults she alleges to have suffered at the hands of the Mexican-American wrestler. Del Rio's real name is Jose A. Rodriguez Chucuan.

The latest alleged assault occurred on May 3rd when Del Rio accused the victim of being unfaithful and became angry when she wouldn’t admit to the infidelity. The victim claims the 42-year-old wrestler “slapped her across the head, slapped her again, then took her to his downstairs bedroom and slapped her eight more times.”

Del Rio then allegedly made her put on a dress and dance for him. When the victim refused Del Rio warned her not to cry or he would “take her son and drop him off in the middle of the road somewhere."

The victim was then tied up with boxing straps, had a sock placed in her mouth, and then sexually assaulted for hours with several objects. During the assault, Del Rio punched her in the back which caused visible injures and placed his hand around her throat.

Del Rio was charged with Sexual Assault, a 2nd-degree felony, and was required to post a $50,000.
