Police: Suspect Robbed Convenience Store With Sword

 

SAN ANTONIO, TX – The San Antonio Police Department is investigating the robbery of a QuikTrip convenience store involving a suspect armed with a sword.

According to KABB, around 4:00 a.m. on Friday the suspect entered the convenience store wearing a blue surgical mask and wielding a large sword.

The suspect entered the store and demanded money. The clerk cleared out the register and the suspect fled the scene. No one was injured in the incident.

Authorities have detained a possible suspect.
