3-Year-Old Dies After Accidentally Shooting Himself

 

CLYDE, TX – Authorities have identified the three-year-old boy who accidentally shot himself with his great-grandmother’s gun. The little boy, Keegan AlexZander Lee Vasquez, passed away on Friday while he was treated at Cook Children’s Medical Center.

According to KTXS, on Tuesday the family will be hosting visitations from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Bailey-Howard Funeral Home in Clyde. The memorial service for Keegan will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Clyde.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the Vasquez family raise money for medical costs and funeral expenses as they go through an unimaginable tragedy. A hamburger benefit will be Saturday, Feb. 8 at the B&C Patio in Baird from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Anyone interested in donating any time before or after the benefit can message the Facebook page hosting the hamburger benefit or call Baldo Gomez at the Callahan County Farmer’s Co-op at 325-854-1360.
