Area Animal Shelter At Max Capacity as Dogs Face Euthanization

 

COLORADO CITY, TX – The Colorado City Police Department and the Colorado City Animal Shelter are seeking the public’s help to find homes for the dogs that are currently housed at the shelter. The shelter is full, and the dogs will be euthanized if they are not adopted by today.

There are currently six dogs that need to be adopted or fostered today. According to KTXS, there were ten dogs as of Monday morning and the shelter was down to six dogs as of lunchtime.

Colorado City PD asks the public to contact Rustine at the Colorado City Police Department, (325) 728-5294 if they are the owners of the dogs or are interested in adopting any of them.
