LEXINGTON, KY — Angelo State junior outside hitter Madi Parrish was named a First Team All-American by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), the organization announced Wednesday. Parrish also earned Third Team All-American honors from the Division II Conference Commissioners’ Association (D2CCA).
Parrish, a Saginaw native, capped a dominant 2025 season with 435 kills, averaging 3.72 per set while hitting .245. She led the Belles with 45 service aces and ranked second on the team with 321 digs (3.24 per set). She recorded 20 double-doubles and logged three matches with 20 or more kills, including a blistering 4.31 kills per set during the postseason.
The Finance major swept the South Central Region Player of the Year awards as a consensus selection, was named both Lone Star Conference Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year, and repeated as LSC Tournament MVP.
Parrish, a second-team All-American in 2024, becomes the seventh player in program history to earn multiple All-America honors and the sixth Belle to earn AVCA first-team recognition. She joins former standouts Alex Woolsey (2012), Maddie Huth (2012), Mallory Blauser (2016), Kailyn Gilbreath (2021), and Adeline Ortman (2024).
She ends the season with 1,184 career kills, ranking ninth all-time in program history, and 107 service aces, tied for 10th. Parrish is one of only six Angelo State players to record at least 1,000 kills and 100 aces in a career.
