FRISCO, TX — Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was recently seen in a walking boot on vacation in Cabo San Lucas. A picture surfaced on X last Wednesday, but it is not clear when the picture was taken.
Good news, Cowboys fans: the injury is not expected to impact Prescott when the Cowboys begin training camp on July 25.
ESPN’s Todd Archer reported that Dak Prescott recently suffered a minor right foot sprain that temporarily required a walking boot. It is not known when Prescott suffered the foot injury, as the Cowboys last held an organized workout on June 5.
Meanwhile, NBC Sports reports that the walking boot is part of Prescott's regular maintenance for the compound fracture he suffered to his ankle in 2020.
Prescott has not injured that ankle since.
The Cowboys begin training camp July 25 in Oxnard, California. Read more on the Dallas Cowboys’ training camp schedule here.
