SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo A&M Club hosted its annual Coaches Luncheon on Wednesday. At the San Angelo Country Club, Texas A&M Wide Receivers Coach Holmon Wiggins was the guest of honor and spent about half an hour discussing Texas A&M Football, the SEC, recruiting, and the NIL landscape.
Although Coach Wiggins was supposed to appear in person, stormy weather kept his plane grounded in College Station. Wiggins still appeared on a Zoom call to talk to those gathered at the luncheon.

Texas A&M finished with a disappointing, 5-7 overall record (2-6 SEC East), in a year that saw previous head coach, Jimbo Fischer, fired. The Aggies hired Mike Elko to take over as the head coach to try and turn the historic program around.
Coach Wiggins joined Mike Elko’s staff in January 2024 as the co-offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach. Wiggins came to Aggieland after five seasons at Alabama as the wide receivers coach, including the previous three seasons as the assistant head coach of offense.
During his time in Tuscaloosa, Wiggins produced a Heisman Trophy and Biletnikoff Award winner in DeVonta Smith in 2020. He also developed five first-round NFL Draft picks, including Jaylen Waddle (No. 6 overall), DeVonta Smith (No. 10), Henry Ruggs III (No. 12), Jameson Williams (No. 12), and Jerry Jeudy (No. 15).
Wiggins began his coaching career at his alma mater in New Mexico after an outstanding playing career with the Lobos. He was a three-year starter at running back, finishing his career with 1,833 rushing years while setting the Lobos' single-season record for punt returns (46) and punt return yards (392). He is a 2003 graduate of the University of New Mexico.
Wiggins and his wife Dominique have four daughters, Justyce, Karyn, Brooklyn and Journye, and two sons, Kingston and Legend.
