COLLEGE STATION, TX — International soccer fans have a chance to see two premier national teams square off in Texas this Saturday, June 8. Mexico and Brazil head to Aggieland to play a friendly match against each other at Kyle Field in College Station.
The match is scheduled for June 8 at Texas A&M and will begin at 7:30 p.m. This match will be the first international soccer match ever held at Kyle Field. According to KBTX, out of Bryan, TX, A&M has sold over 65,000 tickets so far, with over 100,000 total tickets available when the tickets were announced. Tickets for this weekend are still available for purchase HERE.
The last time Mexico played in Texas was for the 2024 CONCACAF Nations League Final at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, where the United States soundly defeated Mexico to win the Final, 2-0. That match drew 60,000 people to the stadium.
Brazil travels to Texas to play Mexico on June 8 before their national team heads to Orlando, FL, to take on the United States Men’s National Team on June 12 at the Allstate Continental Clasico. Brazil holds that all-time head-to-head record over Mexico at 24 wins, seven draws, and 10 losses.
