Another Texas Tech Alumni is Super Bowl Bound

 

TAMPA BAY, FL – For the twelfth year in a row a Texas Tech Red Raider will be playing in the Super Bowl.

According to the NFL, on Feb. 7, the former Texas Tech Red Raider Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs will be taking on 6 time Super Bowl veteran Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

This will be the twelfth year in a row that a player from Texas Tech will be in the Super Bowl.

  • 2017 – LaAdrian Waddle played for the Patriots

Tom Brady has been to the Super Bowl 10 times in his 20 seasons.

Super Bowl LV will be on Feb. 7 starting at 5:30 p.m. in Tampa Bay, Fl. This year's halftime performance will be the Weeknd.
