Petition Created to Reinstate Girls Soccer Coach

MIDLAND, TX – Midland ISD has placed the head coach of the Midland High girls soccer team on administrative leave without explanation.

Although Midland ISD has not released the reason behind the decision, a petition to have the coach reinstated has been created by an anonymous person.

The petition claims that Coach Taryn Parker was allegedly housing a player who had "a dream of playing college soccer."

"The mom got angry, put a complaint in" continued the petition explaining how the politics of the sport weighed in on the situation.

As of now MISD has not released a statement regarding Coach Parker.

The petition currently has over 2,600 signatures as of Monday morning.
