AREA VOLLEYBALL: Sonora Bounces Friona to Advance to Regional Quarterfinal

SEMINOLE, TX-- The Sonora Lady Broncos advanced to the regional quarterfinals of the UIL volleyball playoffs with a four-set win over the Friona Squaws on Thursday.

Sonora won 25-12, 25-15, 23-25 and 25-17 to win the match.

Friona was the runner-up from District 1-3A .

Sonora improves to 25-14 on the season.

The Lady Broncos will next face the winner of the Alpine-Shallowater game.

  • Junction beat La Pryor: 3-1
