RIDE-ALONG: The Good Samaritans In Jeeps

SAN ANGELO, TX -- As the saga of 2021 continues with the historic winter storm in Texas, the statewide power outages, water availability along with the growing level of difficulty to get from point a to point b when it comes to transportation have been major obstacles this week.

Thankfully, The San Angelo Jeep Club has not only been able to assist those who have found themselves stuck in the ice and snow around town but the Meals For The Elderly organization as well.

In a Tuesday ride-along with San Angelo Jeep Club member Grover Halsell, the mission was to deliver meals to the elderly who are homebound in southwest San Angelo.

Along with Grover Halsell close to 20 others from the San Angelo Jeep Club volunteered their time to make sure meals were delivered.

Watch the ride-along as Halsell describes this once and a lifetime winter storm and the lasting impact delivering meals to the elderly left on him.
