WATCH: This Is How We Fight Our Battles

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The devastating death of George Floyd continues to be felt throughout America and certainly here in San Angelo and the Concho Valley.

A peaceful protest was held in honor of Floyd on Sunday followed by a prayer rally on Tuesday night on the steps of the San Angelo Police Department.

Praise and worships groups along with civic leaders from around the city reminded those in attendance that a political agenda was not sought but instead a reminder that San Angelo stands strong with its leaders and the cause to dispel racism.

The Call to Arms Prayer Rally or otherwise known as a call to prayer gave pastors, and community leaders an opportunity to speak to the citizens while sharing a moment of praise and worship.

Watch as Tuesday's prayer rally reinforces the fight against racism and the unity of a community.
