San Angelo Police Involved in Standoff on San Antonio Street

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Law enforcement officers have surrounded a San Angelo home late Thursday afternoon with a suspect barricaded inside.

The incident was first reported about 4:30 p.m. in the 3000 block of San Antonio Street near the intersection with Guthrie Street.

There were officers from numerous law enforcement agencies, including the San Angelo Police Department, the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office, DPS and U.S. Marshals.

There were also officers in SWAT gear with long guns drawn.

An officer was heard calling through a megaphone for the person to exit the home.
