SAN ANGELO, TX — A total of 660 voters cast ballots Tuesday on the first day of early voting for the March 3, 2026, primary election, the Tom Green County Elections Office reported.
Early voting continues through Friday, Feb. 27, at five locations countywide, with varying hours at the main site and branch polling places.
The main early voting location is the Edd B. and Frances Frink Keyes Building, 113 W. Beauregard Ave. Hours there are:
- Wednesday, Feb. 18–Friday, Feb. 20: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday, Feb. 21: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Sunday, Feb. 22: noon to 6 p.m.
- Monday, Feb. 23–Friday, Feb. 27: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Four branch locations are also open:
- Concho Valley Transit District (Bus Depot), Annex Building, 506 N. Chadbourne St.
- Westlake Ace Hardware (sales floor), 1821 Knickerbocker Road
- Tom Green County CSCD Training Room, 3036 N. Bryant Blvd.
- MHMR Services of the Concho Valley, Jack Ray Room, 1501 W. Beauregard Ave.
Hours at the branch sites are:
- Wednesday, Feb. 18–Saturday, Feb. 21: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sunday, Feb. 22: noon to 6 p.m.
- Monday, Feb. 23–Friday, Feb. 27: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
On the ballot are contested races for Texas governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, four Texas Supreme Court seats, U.S. senator and U.S. House districts under new 2025 congressional maps. Both parties have non-binding propositions — 10 for Republicans, 13 for Democrats.
Local Republican primaries include contested races for county court at law No. 1, county clerk and Precinct 2 county commissioner.
