Early Voting Begins in San Angelo for May 3 Election

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Early voting for the May 3 general election began Tuesday, April 22, in San Angelo, allowing residents to cast ballots ahead of Election Day.

According to the Tom Green County elections office, early voting will run through Tuesday, April 29. Voting hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and Saturday, and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

All early voting takes place at the Election Office in the Edd B. and Frances Frink Keyes Building, 113 W. Beauregard Ave.

Voters will decide on several local races and two major bond propositions. Items on the ballot include the City of San Angelo mayoral and councilmember seat elections, San Angelo ISD School Board races, a $397 million bond proposal for district-wide renovations and new construction projects, and a $41.6 million bond for upgrades to the CRC Roofers Coliseum.
