San Angelo City Offices to Close for Presidents Day, Trash Service Unaffected

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Most city offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 17, in observance of Presidents Day, though trash collection and landfill operations will continue as scheduled.

The closures include City Hall, the Community Development building, City Hall Annex, the Fairmount Cemetery business offices, Municipal Court, and the Parks and Recreation offices.

Other affected facilities include the San Angelo-Tom Green County Health Department, Southside and Carl Ray Johnson recreation centers, Station 618 and Santa Fe Crossing senior centers, the Animal Shelter, and Women, Infants and Children (WIC) services.

City offices will reopen Tuesday, Feb. 18.

Fort Concho’s Visitor Center in Barracks 1 will remain open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Presidents Day, offering self-guided tours at 630 S. Oakes St. For more information, visit fortconcho.com.

Additionally, the San Angelo City Council will hold its next meeting at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18, at the McNease Convention Center, 501 Rio Concho Drive. The agenda is available at cosatx.us/councilagenda.
