Road Closures and Delays Across San Angelo Starting Today

SAN ANGELO, TX — Motorists in San Angelo should anticipate road closures and delays as multiple construction projects begin today, Monday, Jan. 27. 

The 100 block of W. 29th Street, from N. Irving Street to Farr Street, is closed to through traffic, including alleys, until Feb. 7 as part of the Glenna Utility Project. While road access is restricted, businesses within the closure remain open, with access maintained for customers.

Additionally, the Texas Department of Transportation reported disruptions on FM 388 (Chadbourne Street) at Avenue L due to ongoing construction. Delays are also expected at the intersections of 29th Street and Grape Creek Road/Lake Drive, as well as Southwest Boulevard and Sunset Drive.
