SAN ANGELO, TX - Fairmount Cemetery staff will conduct a thorough cleanup of the burial grounds on Wednesday, Jan. 15, removing flowers and other items to maintain the property.
Families wishing to preserve items left at gravesites must remove them by the end of the day Friday, Jan. 10. Items can be returned to the cemetery beginning Friday, Jan. 31.
Unclaimed items left at gravesites will be held for one week to allow for pickup. Any items not retrieved by Friday, Jan. 24, will be disposed of by cemetery staff.
Officials remind lot owners to place flowers only on the sides or in cradles on top of monuments to allow for proper gravesite maintenance.
The cemetery is located at 1120 W Ave N.
