SAN ANGELO, TX - Angelo State University's Mariachi Los Pastores ensemble will present its annual fall concert on Thursday, Nov. 21, in the Brooks & Bates Theatre at the San Angelo Performing Arts Center, 82 Gillis St. downtown.
Titled "Mexico, Lindo y Querido," the concert will begin at 7 p.m. and is open and free to the public. Mariachi Los Pastores includes 16 ASU student musicians performing on traditional mariachi instruments.
The musical program for the concert will include:
- "Ay Jalisco No Te Rajes" featuring Jordan Cardwell and Manuel Torres on vocals
- "Y Andale" featuring Jessie Martinez and Anali Rivera on vocals
- "La Ley Del Monte" featuring Rivera on vocals
- "Alegre y Enamorada" featuring Jessie Martinez on vocals
- "Si Nos Dejan" featuring Rivera on vocals
- "Por Tu Maldito Amor" featuring Refugio Martinez on vocals
- "Juan Colorado" featuring Jessie Martinez on vocals
- "Mexico, Lindo y Querido" featuring Cardwell and Roberto Lopez on vocals

Mariachi Los Pastores is directed by Rosendo Ramos of the ASU music faculty, who is also the mariachi director at Lake View High School.
