SAN ANGELO, TX — With Halloween just days away, San Angelo is filled with events catering to families and community members of all ages. From “Truck or Treat” with the fire department to a “Spooktacular Symphony,” there’s something for everyone this Halloween week.
Families can enjoy an array of trick-or-treat opportunities starting Wednesday, Oct. 30, with Downtown San Angelo’s Trick-or-Treat Fest. Running from 5 to 8 p.m., the fest features local businesses offering candy, games, and activities along with pumpkin decorating and spooky photo setups. The Old Central Firehouse Pizzeria will host a trunk-or-treat with local heroes, including firefighters and law enforcement, while Mandala Den will add acoustic music and Halloween-themed mocktails.

The Riverside Spook-Tacular Market at Bart Dewitt Park on Oct. 30 invites families from 1 to 5 p.m. to shop from local vendors while children are welcome to dress up in costume.
On Halloween night, Oct. 31, the San Angelo Fire Department will host its annual “Truck or Treat” event at all eight fire stations from 6 to 8 p.m., allowing families to explore fire trucks and enjoy candy giveaways. Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes but are reminded not to block driveways at the stations.
The Circle S Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch, located at 7305 Bean Road, remains open for its seasonal festivities through Nov. 2. Celebrating the 75th anniversary of Peanuts, this year’s maze includes a themed corn maze, pumpkin patch with over 30 varieties, and family-friendly games such as corn cannons, a wall ball maze, and a tetherball playground.

On Saturday, Nov. 2, the San Angelo Symphony will host “A Spooktacular Symphony” at the Murphey Performance Hall at 7 p.m. This concert features special magician David Hira. Guests are encouraged to come in costume and arrive early for a chance to trick-or-treat with Symphony Guild Ambassadors.
For those planning to attend these events, city officials advise costume-wearers to exercise caution and stay safe by watching for traffic while crossing streets.
