SAN ANGELO, TX - Fort Concho will offer three weekends of spooky fun this October with a variety of haunted attractions for visitors of all ages.
Events will run from Oct. 4 through Oct. 19, featuring haunted house experiences, ghost tours, and a murder mystery game.
The “House of Horrors” will kick off the festivities on Oct. 4 and 5 at the Quartermaster Building. The event runs from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. and is open to visitors aged six and older. Tickets are priced at $12, or $10 for Fort Concho members, and children under six get in free. Tickets will not be sold after 10:30 p.m.
The following weekend, Oct. 11 and 12, Fort Concho will host “Fort Concho After Dark,” offering nighttime tours of the fort’s haunted buildings. Tours begin at 8 p.m. from Barracks 1, and advance ticket purchase is required. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for Fort Concho members, and free for children under six.
On Oct. 18 and 19, visitors can participate in “A Murder at Fort Concho,” a real-life mystery game where attendees will solve clues around the fort. The event runs from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., with the last sleuths sent out at 9:15 p.m. Tickets are $12, or $10 for members, with water and snacks provided.
