SAN ANGELO— The Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office welcomed four new deputies Wednesday.
On Wednesday, June 21, 2023, The Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office welcomed four new deputies to the force in a ceremony held in the Edd B. Keys Building.
A large crowd consisting of law enforcement and family members showed their support this morning as the new deputes completed their oath from Justice of the Peace Tom Daniel. Senior District Judge Barbara Walther spoke at the ceremony in welcoming the new deputies.
The new deputies are Todd Deere, Jake Richardson, Billy Cortez, and Brandon Lange.
Each deputy recently graduated from the Concho Valley Regional Law Enforcement Academy.
Additionally, recent promotions within the Sheriff’s Office were recognized as follows:
- Corrections Officer Doug Clark was promoted to Corrections Corporal and will serve as the Inmate Programs Coordinator.
- Deputy Weston Crabtree was promoted to Mental Health Corporal.
- Deputy Rosie Soto was promoted to mental Health Sergeant.
